I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with this blog. It could be diary-like, it could be about world events, perhaps even pop-culture. It will probably end up some combination of those things and more. I start this blog at a time when I'm getting the hell out of Virginia for a few weeks. I'm heading to the great red state of Alabama . . . to visit friends and family. I have lived in Alabama for a large portion of my life. Fun time, right. :) It's not so bad, but it was definitely time to go when I left last year . . . I have moved to Virginia - which is beautiful . . . but where did the gay go? The gay was, surprisingly, everywhere in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama. I'm not sure where the gay are in this area . . . were they swallowed by a gigantic gay sink-hole? Does a state with Bob McDonnell as governor and a University that was started by Jerry Falwell simply refuse to willingly admit the gay? I'm not sure. Somehow, I got across the border . . . however; I suspect that the whole PhD thing makes me a special gay, and thus allows me to get through. Hmmmmm . . . thought to ponder.
Must continue to hydrate so that I can hit up the gym a little later. Wow, that wasn't stereotypically gay at all, huh?
Check ya later.
